Mindya: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Mindya is a village with architecture from the Bulgarian National Revival period, mainly dating from 1850–1900. This includes around twenty houses in the characteristic “Moraviya” style. More than ten active monasteries are located within 20 km of Mindya, including Kapinovski, Merdanski and Lyaskovski Monasteries. At the site known as Cherkovishte stands a votive stone dedicated to Saint George in 1801. It was set up as a resting place with a bench and a view towards Mindya’s central church.
