Pazardzhik: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Pazardzhik is home to the Cathedral Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God. It was built in 1836–1837, is described by the municipality as Bulgaria’s largest church from the National Revival period, and contains a carved iconostasis of national importance associated with the Debar-Mijak woodcarving school.

Culture

The Kurshum Mosque is a preserved 17th-century mosque and a locally significant architectural cultural monument. Old Bridge, Kurshunlu Mosque, Saints Constantine and Helen Church, and Saint Michael Church are located near Pazardzhik.

The lapidarium of the Regional Historical Museum displays stone statues, road columns, altars, and cult figures.

Elenski Vrah and Gradishteto are located in the surrounding area of Pazardzhik. In the wider regional area around Pazardzhik are Dabovitsa and Bayryaka.
