The History Museum of Panagyurishte is a central museum complex with ethnographic houses, the Rayna Knyaginya house museum, the exhibition on the Panagyurishte Gold Treasure, the Tutev House – where the April Uprising was proclaimed on 20 April 1876 – and the Lekov House, an architectural monument from the period of the Bulgarian National Revival.

The museum’s archaeological exhibition includes finds from Panagyurishte and a replica of the Panagyurishte Gold Treasure. The exhibition on the April Uprising is described as one of the museum’s most significant exhibitions. The History Museum is open year-round for an admission fee, offers guided tours, and is accessible to people with disabilities. It is centrally located near parking facilities.
