2.1 km south of Ardino lies the Thracian rock sanctuary of Orlovi Skali. 97 trapezoidal niches are carved into the volcanic rock; the site has the status of archaeological cultural heritage of national significance.

In Ardino itself, the Old Powder Magazine is listed as an immovable cultural property of architecture and construction and has the provisional category of local significance. The small stone building was constructed in the late 18th or early 19th century and formerly served as a powder depot and ammunition store.

Nature and Mountains

Around 6 km from Ardino lies the Belite Brezi complex in a natural birch reserve at an altitude of 952 m. It supports hiking tourism and excursions towards the surrounding mountain attractions.

A marked eco-trail, approximately 5 km long, connects the village of Dyadovtsi with the Devil's Bridge. It follows a historic caravan route and passes preserved paving, stone walls, old wells, panoramic rock views and protected plants. Steep sections require caution; a guide is recommended.
