Pismenovo: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

From Pismenovo, an eco-route follows a paved road towards Fasanovo and the Skoka Waterfall. The route is marked in white and blue. Skoka Waterfall is located about half a kilometer from Karadzhov Vir.

Nature and Trails

After crossing the river, the route passes the Tisovitsa Reserve and continues into Strandja Nature Park. The Directorate of Strandja Nature Park offers mountain, ecological, ornithological, sports, and cultural-educational routes. The area of Strandja and the southern Black Sea coast is described as a cultural route encompassing Thracian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and Bulgarian medieval heritage.

After traveling approximately five kilometers upstream, the route offers a panorama of the Popovi Rocks.

Along the Way

The area around Pismenovo is used in summer for tourist trips and safari excursions organized by tour operators. The Lozenets–Primorsko cycling tour runs along a 50-kilometer section of Strandja, passing by Pismenovo. After a gradual ascent and a difference in elevation of 60 meters, the route reaches the valley of the Garvanova River, 2.8 kilometers from Pismenovo.

Geographical Location

A paved road through the forest connects Primorsko with Pismenovo. On the route from Primorsko towards the International Youth Center, the turnoff to Pismenovo is located 900 meters beyond the bridge over the Dyavolska River. In Primorsko, tourist signs indicate the distance to Pismenovo and the way there.
