Another option is the Rochehaut–Laviot hike. It runs along the Semois, passes the Corbeaux viewpoint and offers a view of the hamlet of Frahan there. The trail is marked with red rectangle number 28. The two routes have different emphases: the Balade des Échelles focuses on the steep path, the ladders and the clearly stated route length, while the Rochehaut–Laviot route highlights the course along the Semois and the view of Frahan.

Village history between Ardennes house and tobacco drying sheds

There are also details in the heart of the village that enrich a stay in Rochehaut beyond the natural experience. A listed Ardennes house with a canopy stands there. A restored washhouse is also located in the heart of the village. Tobacco drying sheds recall the cultivation of tobacco, which flourished in Rochehaut from the 1850s onwards. Wildlife park, miniature railway and P'tit parc loisirs
