Lake Strusto is connected to Lake Snudy by a strait. Its shoreline features numerous small bays and inlets; in sunny weather, the water is described as being transparent to a depth of around six metres. The lake contains around 20 islands, including Chaychin, with its own small lake, and Shova, with two small lakes on elevated terrain.
