From the center of Petrelë village, visitors can walk to the ruins of Persqop along a good country road. In addition, an official Tirana travel route recommends a hiking trail from Petrelë Castle to the ancient settlement of Persqop. Petrelë Castle is open to visitors. It can be reached by bus from the Southeast Terminal; after approximately 20 minutes, you arrive at Mamica Square in the center of Petrelë.
