What makes Kandal interesting for an outing

One of the destinations described is Phnom Prasith in Kandal, north of Phnom Penh. Access is categorized via National Road 5 and other approach roads. Together with the nearby cultural site Phnom Reap, this creates an excursion direction that combines cultural impressions with a trip from the capital area.

East of Phnom Penh is also Wat Kean Svay Krau, described as a pagoda-related destination in Kandal and reachable via National Road 1. This gives you different directions for planning your day: Phnom Prasith lies north of the capital, while Wat Kean Svay Krau is east of it. No ranking of the destinations or general statement about all areas of Kandal can be derived from this.
