Getting around

The Mammoth Museum Niederweningen can be reached from Zürich HB by S-Bahn line S15 to Niederweningen Dorf station and then on foot in five minutes; from the terminus at Niederweningen, the walk takes around 15 minutes.

The “To the Mammoths in the Wehntal” hike leads downhill into the village of Niederweningen and onward to the Mammoth Museum.

One variation of the hike reaches the Sandhöhli Niederweningen barbecue area after a further 20-minute walk.
