Culture

The chapel project was initiated by the priest Joseph Fournier. Its bell had already been installed in the bell tower of Basse-Nendaz before 1794.

Saclentse lies at an altitude of 1,203 metres above sea level, just above the Printse on its left bank.

The bisse d’en Bas near the village offers a peaceful walk. Near Saclentse, it is the lowest-lying bisse on the left bank of the Printse and is still used to irrigate meadows and the cultivation of raspberries and strawberries around Basse-Nendaz and Saclentse.
