In Le Pâquier, you will find the Fontaine du Bas. Visitors can see the historic farmhouses of Le Pâquier, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries and characterised by gradual architectural changes. There is a fountain near the school in Le Pâquier.

The former municipal forge of Le Pâquier hosts public activities. On the first Thursday of each month, members meet at the Forge du Pâquier; newcomers can also get to know the forge there. The Fête de la Forge takes place every year at the end of summer and includes demonstrations in the forge as well as contributions from craftspeople with different skills.

Nature

In the wider surrounding region, the Chasseral–Chaumont hike initially follows the ridge and then leads into the Combe Biosse nature reserve. Also in the wider surrounding region, the Chasseral hike leads via the Combe Biosse through the Val-de-Ruz below Chasseral to the summit; the descent passes through the forests and pastures of Chasseral.

Le Pâquier is associated with the Réserve de la Combe Biosse as an excursion destination. At the exit from Le Pâquier towards Bugnenets, a section of wall approximately 150 metres long was restored in 2020; between 2016 and 2021, more than 1,200 metres of walls were restored in total.

Winter

The Le Pâquier / Crêt du Puy ski area offers ten kilometres of ski runs, which can also be used at night. The Les Bugnenets ski station is one of the excursion destinations associated with Le Pâquier. The Swiss ski school Neuchâtel-Les Bugnenets offers lessons in skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and telemark skiing.

Geographical location

The Noctambus does not serve Le Pâquier because there is no public transport route there. The Snowbus runs from Neuchâtel, Place Pury, via the railway station, Savagnier and Villiers, with a connection to route 422 to Bugnenets-Savagnières and Maison Chasseral.
