In the central part of Horodnic de Sus, the “Sfântul Dumitru” wooden church stands on Dealul Osoi. It was built in 1790. The preserved church interior includes an iconostasis made in 1790 in the Rococo style and gilded with gold leaf. The altar of the wooden church also contains a rare clay oven from the 19th century. Thus, a single place of worship brings together the simple designation as a wooden church, the Rococo form of the iconostasis, its gold-leaf surface and an unusual furnishing element from the 19th century.
