Bălteni – Iminog, Landscape and Customs
Nature and Landscape
Bălteni lies on a plain at the transition between the Subcarpathian hills and the Boian Plain. The Iminog stream crosses Bălteni from north to south. In Bălteni, its valley has numerous meanders; the watercourse is characterised by many loops. The remaining woodland areas around Bălteni include Pădurea Coşcova. The plain, stream, meandering valley and woodland area provide clearly named geographical reference points.
