Culture
In Târnăveni, the Unitarian church is listed as a historic monument. Its dating begins in the late 13th century and extends to the 16th century. Another dated period covers the 18th to 19th centuries. The church was built in the Gothic style. In 1599, it was redesigned. Its furnishings include a silver glass dating from 1636. A silver tray is also part of the furnishings. One bell dates from 1678.
The long chronological classification and the later alterations stand side by side in this building. The Gothic design, the redesign of 1599 and the preserved furnishings point to different periods of its history. The silver glass, the silver tray and the bell complement the architectural description with specific details.
The wooden church is listed as a historic monument under code MS-II-m-A-15647. It is dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The building has two entrances. Their frames have a keyhole-shaped form. This framing shape is considered very rare.
The wooden church is therefore primarily characterised by its construction and its distinctive entrance details. The dedication to Saint Nicholas is part of its designation, just as the two entrances form part of its architectural description. The keyhole-shaped frames give the building a clearly identifiable architectural feature.

Nature
The “Corona” Forest is one of Târnăveni’s tourist destinations. It lies in the interfluve between the Mureș and Târnava Mică rivers.
Its location in the interfluve between the Mureș and Târnava Mică rivers places the “Corona” Forest in the landscape between the two rivers. In addition to this forest, named elevations are also part of the geographical description of the town.
Fruntea Dealului is a named peak. It is located in the vicinity of Târnăveni. Dealul Gorga is a named hill. It lies in the surrounding area of Târnăveni. Dealul Telec is also a named hill in the vicinity. La Spânzurătoare is likewise a named hill in the vicinity of Târnăveni.
The elevations are classified differently: Fruntea Dealului is named as a peak, while Dealul Gorga, Dealul Telec and La Spânzurătoare appear as hills in the surrounding area. Thus, the landscape description includes both the forest and several clearly named terrain features.
