Neptun: Beach, Adventure and Culture

Neptun combines a wide sandy beach, adventure activities in the forest, and distinctive cultural sites. The main beach is known as La Steaguri Beach. Neptun Beach is on average 30 to 100 m wide, has fine sand, and offers gently sloping access to the sea.

At La Steaguri Beach, the coast is the focus, with its specific dimensions and characteristics. The average width ranges from 30 to 100 m, while the fine sand and gently sloping access to the sea are additional defining features. The beach remains a distinct focal point alongside the leisure and cultural offerings.

Adventure in the Comorova Forest

There is an adventure park in the Comorova Forest in Neptun. Paradis Land has 14 adventure courses with increasing levels of difficulty, organized by difficulty level and age group. In addition, the zipline course consists of 10 ziplines at a height of 10 m. The adventure courses and the ziplines of the zipline course belong to the same adventure park.

The yellow course at Paradis Land is suitable for children and adults with a height of at least 120 cm. The adventure park can be reached from the Halta Neptun stop via a 1.3 km walking route. Walking routes to an amusement park can play a separate role in preparation; current route conditions and transport schedules can be checked before arrival. Adventure parks may have different opening hours; current times can be checked before arrival. For activities with age groups and height requirements, the applicable participation guidelines can be checked before the visit.

Dinosaur Park

Jurasica Adventure Park Neptun offers family activities in an inflatable park focused on dinosaurs. The dinosaur theme gives this attraction a different thematic character from the courses and ziplines at Paradis Land. In the Comorova Forest, an adventure park and a dinosaur-themed inflatable park therefore exist side by side as separate excursion destinations. A dinosaur theme can be taken into account when planning the day as a thematic reason for a visit.

Church with a Distinctive Design

The Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Neptun has a cross-shaped floor plan and an octagonal tower above the naos. Its furnishings include solid oak entrance doors. These were carved in the village of Cracăul Negru by the Ursu Gheorghe family. The building's design, tower, and the craftsmanship behind the doors give the church several clearly distinguishable architectural and design features.

Neptun Summer Theater

The Neptun Summer Theater is also part of the cultural offerings. It was renovated by the Mangalia City Administration and has a capacity of 650 seats.
