Four megalithic monuments are incorporated into the municipality of Nelas's Prehistoric Circuit: the Orca da Lapa do Lobo, the Orca das Pramelas in Canas de Senhorim, the Orca do Folhadal and the Orca do Pinhal dos Amiais in Senhorim. The Orca de Pramelas is a small megalithic monument with a polygonal chamber, a floor laid with stone slabs and a short symbolic corridor. The circuit thus provides access to some of the earliest traces of human history.

Those who prefer to experience the landscape by bicycle can consider the Centro de BTT Nelas – Fácil, rated Level 1. The route is designed for beginner cyclists with little experience and limited endurance, and runs on paved or asphalted surfaces without obstacles. It passes through the northern part of the municipality as well as the agricultural and wine-growing landscapes of Vilar Seco and Santar.

To reach the Lagareta Medieval, first turn off Avenida 25 de Abril and continue for 600 metres. The route then continues on foot, following the signs, for approximately another 800 metres. Take these specific sections of the route into account when planning your day.
