Mussel boats lie in the harbor of Bruinisse, reflecting the mussel farming tradition that has existed in the Oosterschelde for generations. Jachthaven Bruinisse has a public bathing beach and a freshwater swimming pool for children. This allows you to spend a day combining a maritime harbor setting with swimming by the water.

At the end of Boomdijk, the Getijdenpoelen tidal pools are located near a small beach. At low tide, shallow pools remain in which the marine life of the Oosterschelde can be observed. The site thus combines tide watching and coastal nature in a clear nature experience.

The Visserijdagen is an annual tradition in Bruinisse and takes place on the third weekend of July. Anyone who includes this date in their holiday plans will experience another established part of local life.

MEER Outdoor at Grevelingendam offers windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and wing foiling. For groups, the activities also include archery, GPS puzzle tours and Robinson Games.
