The town hall is open on weekends from May through September for information about the village, a small exhibition, or a guided tour of the building. Menningweermolen and Local Tradition
The Menningweermolen is an octagonal windmill with an internal scoop wheel, built in 1888. Since 1985, it has been able to drain the Eilandspolder. The marbles game for adults is a centuries-old tradition in Grootschermer. The mill highlights the technical task of water management, while the marbles game provides a cultural contrast.
