Behind the Schoorlse Duinen lies Schoorl aan Zee beach, which can only be reached on foot or by bicycle. At De Kerf, seawater can enter the dune valleys behind it during spring tides and north-westerly storms. There are also clear reference points for cycling tours: the Schoorlse Duinen have more than 20 kilometres of paved cycle paths.
