At the same time, Moretusbos is the northern part of the park belonging to the historic Ravenhof estate and is located on Dutch territory.

For shorter and longer days of hiking, Putte offers two clearly distinct routes: Klein rondje Putte is 3 kilometres long and has a stated duration of 45 minutes. Historical sites and monuments

On 5 October 1944, the first Canadian soldiers of the Essex Scottish Regiment crossed the border from Belgium near Putte; Putte was liberated on 6 October 1944. The protected tower of the R.K. Dionysiuskerk dates from 1865 and is now a memorial monument to those who died in the Second World War. The Jacob Jordaens monument was erected in 1877 and comprises a bronze bust and a gravestone set into the pedestal.

The protected grounds of the I.B.V.A.-Frechie Cemetery include the old access road from Putseweg and a north-south avenue lined with lime trees leading to the protected tomb monument of the Horowitz family. The entrance gate on Putseweg dates from 1924 and features Expressionist forms. The Jewish cemetery “Sombre Hadass” is bounded on the west side by the public road Putseweg by a wall dating from around 1930, with two gates in the Expressionist style. The first burials took place from 1910 on the two-hectare plot acquired by the I.B.V.A. in Putte in 1909.
