When a stream bed was being excavated in Hoogeloon, ten bronze axes were found. The Roman past also includes a villa with underfloor heating and bathing facilities. The archaeological finds from Hoogeloon's Roman past are considered unique in the Kempen region.

The freestanding church tower dates from around 1400 and is the only surviving part of the Gothic church demolished in 1926. It houses a tithe bell from 1435, cast by Jan Zeeltman. The Sint Pancratius Church was built in 1924 and designed by Hubert van Groenendael.

The Herdenkingszuil Hoogeloon memorial column bears the names on four bronze plaques of two Dutch, one British and four American military personnel who fell fighting the occupying forces. The steel column has a sword at its top. In the Mariakapel, two stained-glass windows commemorate the Dutch soldiers Jan Balduk and Jan Goossens, who fell fighting the occupying forces after the German invasion in May 1940. Visitors can light a candle there. The “De Luisterkei” memorial commemorates the local resistance, which hid several American pilots underground during the final days of the war; a German bunker can still be seen at its location.
