The Frans Tromp Monument commemorates resistance fighter Frans Tromp, who was shot by the occupying forces during the Second World War. In Hoevelaken, this monument consists of a memorial plaque mounted on the inner wall of the Christian primary school “Schimmelpenninck van der Oye” on Oosterdorpsstraat.

The tower of the Reformed Church at Westerdorpsstraat 67 also combines architecture and history. The brick building dates from the 15th or 16th century. Its tower houses two bells, including one made by J. Tolhuis in 1537.

Grand café De Haen is located on the car park side of De Brink 10a in Hoevelaken and is connected to the Laaksepad.
