Giustino between nature and village history

It tells the story of the recovery and restoration of the large Skoda 10.4 cannon, serial number 254. The cannon was discovered in summer 2000 at an altitude of 3,171 metres in the upper Val di Nardis, in the Adamello-Presanella Group.

The Museo della Guerra Skoda also features a permanent exhibition on the First World War, with historical images and movable artefacts recovered from the ice of the Adamello-Presanella mountains. Sacred murals can still be seen in Giustino’s historic centre. The knife-grinding trade is also part of the village’s history: it shaped emigration from Giustino in the 19th and 20th centuries.
