Culture, History and Regular Events
Every Tuesday, a one-hour guided tour of Goldrain Castle is offered. Registration must be completed by 12:00 noon on the day of the event. Goldrain Castle is now a modern educational and conference centre and was once the ancestral seat of the Counts of Hendl. Its present use as an educational and conference centre thus stands alongside its former role as the ancestral seat of the Counts of Hendl. The Latschander Waal runs along Trail No. 3 from Latsch to Kastelbell. The Sonnenberg near Goldrain is a starting point for panoramic and high-altitude hikes in the Vinschgau. The Latschander Waal therefore follows Trail No. 3 from Latsch to Kastelbell, while panoramic and high-altitude hikes in the Vinschgau begin at the Sonnenberg.
Herbs, Bread and Regional Discoveries
The Kräuterschlössl in Goldrain includes a farm shop, herb fields and display gardens. The Goldrain bakery produces traditional South Tyrolean bread, including typical Paarl bread, as well as sweet pastries.
