Cala Sant’Elmo consists of a succession of rocks and small sandy coves. Spiaggia Sant’Elmo is 200 metres long, providing a clearly defined stretch of beach within this varied coastal landscape. The surrounding area can also be explored on foot: Su Cannisoni beach can be reached from the village of Sant’Elmo in a northerly direction. From the southern entrance, a short unpaved turn-off also leads to Cala Sant’Elmo beach; it is better to take this route on foot. Getting to the coast of Sant'elmo

Cala Sant’Elmo can be reached from Costa Rei or alternatively from Castiadas via the Costa Rei–Villasimius provincial road and the S. Elmo Beach Hotel. The nearest bus stop to Spiaggia Sant’Elmo is called SANT’ELMO; it is about a 0.4-kilometre walk away. The ARST stop SANT’ELMO is served by route 135.
