At an altitude of 771 metres, the Chiesa di S. Maria in Bioggio lies amid chestnut woods; the smaller chapel was last remodelled in 1757. The Oratorio di S. Ignazio di Loyola is a Baroque artistic gem with a design that, through its simplicity, has a neoclassical feel. The Arco della Dogana served as a customs post for trade by water and road and for collecting duties. Traona in Cantina is an annual event during which characteristic cellars are opened and tastings take place.
