The Church of San Pietro Apostolo in Ruino has a Baroque façade made of exposed stone. The present parish church dates from the second half of the 18th century and preserves a carved wooden composition from the 17th century dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Baroque architecture and religious art thus come together in one place.

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montelungo is located in the hamlet of Ruino and is one of the oldest Marian shrines in Italy. In 774, Emperor Charlemagne donated Montelungo to the Monastery of San Colombano. In 1963, a memorial chapel was built on the site of the former Montelungo church. The history of the sanctuary therefore extends from the donation to San Colombano in 774 to the memorial chapel of 1963. The Shrine of the Apparition of the Madonna of Montelungo is a site of historical and religious significance.

The castle of Torre degli Alberi stands on the summit of a wooded hill and is preserved in excellent condition. The Oratory of Ca' del Matto is a simple example of religious architecture in the village of Ca' del Matto, which belongs to the hamlet of Ruino. It has a square floor plan, a graceful bell tower and exposed brick masonry.

Cycling route, loop trail and natural panorama

The Piccolo Stelvio cycling route leads uphill from Lago di Trebecco towards Pometo, a hamlet of Colli Verdi in the province of Pavia. In just 3 kilometres, the route includes 20 hairpin bends. The climb has an approximate elevation gain of 170 metres. This gives you a clearly defined cycling experience with a short distance, numerous bends and a noticeable elevation gain.
