Tribiano combines waterways and religious buildings with a variety of ideas for active days. The Addetta runs through the town as a branch of the Canale della Muzza, while Tribiano lies within the perimeter of the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano. The churches in Tribiano, Zoate and Lanzano, the three parks, the golf course in Zoate and the waterways offer different themes for culture, exercise and landscapes when planning a trip.

Churches and historic buildings

The parish church of Tribiano, with its distinctive building history, is a prominent feature of the townscape. In its present form, it probably preserves the state of construction dating from around 1622. The single-nave church has two side chapels dedicated to the Madonna del Rosario and the Crucifix. An older historical trace is San Barbaziano: The church is regarded as the former parish church of Tribiano and was probably built towards the end of the 11th century.

The surrounding districts also offer specific destinations for a culturally oriented exploration. The Church of Santa Maddalena is located in the village of Zoate in Tribiano. In Lanzano, there is the small Oratorio dei Santi Gervasio e Protasio. On the right bank of the Addetta, the building known as Castello or Convento preserves the remains of an old monastery. Molino d’Arese is thought to be the villa that Trebius built on the Via Regina towards the end of the 2nd and beginning of the 1st century BC.

Green spaces, water and paths

The three town parks, Cervi, Freud and Manzoni, add their own green accents to Tribiano. The built-up areas of the town are connected by tree-lined avenues with broad pavements, as well as cycle paths and footpaths. When choosing accommodation, you can therefore consider whether your trip should focus more on short routes through the town, nature-related activities or excursions along the waterways. Its location on the Addetta Canal and its connection to the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano give Tribiano a clear landscape character.

Golf in Zoate di Tribiano

The Golf Club Zoate is located in Zoate di Tribiano, Via G. Verdi 8. Its flat 18-hole course, with a par of 72, runs along the Addetta Canal. In addition, the Zoate Golf Academy offers structured and individually tailored training for golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players.

Exploring Tribiano by bus and bicycle

For getting around, bus route z413 connects Milano San Donato M3, Tribiano and Paullo. Another specific option is the “Da Milano lungo il canale della Muzza” cycling tour: it first follows the Muzza Canal to Paullo and then continues to Tribiano along a cycle path.
