La Torre, the Gonzaga Tower, is the only surviving tower of the citadel that the municipality of Mantua built around the year 1000 and that Ludovico Gonzaga fortified after 1370. The natural setting also includes the 17-hectare Digagnola Nature Oasis. It lies in a strip of land between the Argine Maestro and the Argine Golenale, which extends towards the municipality of Felonica.
