Holiday apartment in Presezzo between history and culture

The Castello località Capersegno is a fortified castle dating from the 13th century. Its walls are made of river pebbles; the corners and arches are built from hewn local sandstone. The Castello is privately owned.

On the ground floor of Palazzo Furietti Carrara, there is a fresco cycle by G.P. Cavagna preserving traces of the cycle created by Giovan Paolo Cavagna in the 1590s, with biblical, mythological, sacred and secular scenes. Temporary exhibitions are held in the underground exhibition space. The palazzo also houses a permanent museum with works from the Premio Agazzi.

The musical and religious heritage of Presezzo also includes the Presezzo organ, built in 1801 by the Serassi organ-building company. The Parrocchia dei Santi Fermo e Rustico serves as a meeting place for religious celebrations and cultural events. It is accessible and open to the general public.

The Chiesetta degli Alpini is also used for religious celebrations and cultural events and is managed by the Gruppo Alpini di Presezzo. It is accessible and open to the public, but only opens on special occasions. Visits must be arranged through the Alpini group or the parish. Its limited opening distinguishes it from the publicly accessible parish church in the town.

Town life and public squares

Piazza Beato Papa Giovanni XXIII is a public square in the centre of Presezzo, close to the parish church and shops, with parking available. Parking there is regulated by a parking disc system; designated disabled parking spaces are available. Piazza Tricolore Autieri d'Italia is another public square in the vicinity of Parco arco and is also accessible to people with disabilities. The Centro Ricreativo Culturale "Il Riccio" has accessible rooms on the ground floor, which can be reserved through the municipal library. They provide space for cultural, leisure and social activities.

Cycling, festivals and shared experiences

The Ciclovia Laghi nord runs along a section between Carvico, Sotto il Monte, Presezzo, Ponte San Pietro, Mozzo and Curno. For more sports-oriented travel plans, PresezzIsola is also part of the area, a cycling race held in Presezzo for the Master and Esordienti categories. Every year, the Festa Alpina brings summer to life in Presezzo. The programme of the 2026 Festa Alpina included inflatable games and trampolines. The programme of the 2026 Festa Alpina offered kitchen, bar and pizzeria services from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
