As it continues, the circular trail descends towards the sea and offers views of the coast and the first Apennine foothills. After the stone bridge, it continues through the woodland between houses and terraces to Località Costa on the Sanguineto ridge. Along the route, inhabited areas, cultivated land and wooded sections therefore come together.

The trail to Montallegro leads behind the hamlets of Sanguineto and Campodonico to Monte Anchetta. It takes 120 minutes to reach Anchetta and 240 minutes to reach Montallegro. Its maximum length is 4.5 km, with an ascent of 530 m; here too, the difficulty is rated T/E. Up to Anchetta, the trail passes through mixed woodland and Mediterranean maquis and offers views of the sea and the Apennines.

Another perspective is offered by the circular trail of the three hamlets: Maxena, Sanguineto and Campodonico. It follows old connecting paths used by the inhabitants of these hamlets. Crossing terraced land and a mule track, the circular trail reaches Sanguineto and its church. This makes it possible to combine the landscape with the historic paths between the hamlets.

The Church of Sant’Antonino martire in Sanguineto also represents the village’s complex history. It was the place from which, in the late 1990s, an ancient niche portal with an oil painting of the Mysteries of the Rosary, Saint Dominic and Saint Catherine of Siena was stolen by unknown persons. The forecourt of the church complex on Sanguineto Hill can be reached via a staircase branching off the public road Via Sanguineto.
