The Pantani d’Inferno lie between Lago di Caprolace and Lago di Sabaudia. Hundreds of birds can be observed there, particularly waders. Trails and Routes in Circeo National Park

Circeo National Park has numerous trails that can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Two route descriptions include Bella Farnia in their titles and offer different points of reference. The “Bella Farnia–Idrovora della Lavorazione” route in Circeo National Park is 1.4 kilometres long, flat and demarcated. The “Bella Farnia–mare” route is also flat, paved and about 2.5 kilometres long. It is therefore listed as the longer route; its paved surface is also specified. Both descriptions come from an older tourism guide. Check local conditions before setting out.

The “Ciclovie del mare” project is also relevant for cycling: it envisages a nature-focused cycling route section along Lago di Caprolace. When planning, you can therefore distinguish between the numerous trails in the national park and the section by the lake envisaged as part of the project.

Archaeological Traces and Cultural Events

Archaeological settlement remains in Bella Farnia are among the notable archaeological sites in Circeo National Park. Alongside nature observation and trails, they provide a cultural and historical point of interest for an outing. The Sikh Gurdwara serves as a meeting place for the Sikh community of Bella Farnia.

A report from 2018 described a procession from the Gurdwara to the centre of Sabaudia. At the end of June, it commemorated the martyrdom of the fifth Guru, Arjan Dev. A report from 2018 also noted that since 2001, people from all over Italy had come to Bella Farnia in July to take part in a national Kabaddi tournament. The recorded events thus also differ in timing: the procession was described as taking place at the end of June, and the tournament in July.
