Culture
The Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity was extended in the Baroque style in 1739; the work was completed in 1750. The Roman Catholic parish house was built around 1830 in the Empire style, using the parish building that burned down in 1828. Hunyady Castle was built around 1760 in the Baroque style and extended between 1912 and 1920 in the Neo-Baroque style.
Fancsi Castle was part of the chain of fortresses between Lake Balaton and the Drava built between 1541 and 1556. Earthworks measuring 3 to 5 metres deep and 8 to 12 metres wide have survived from the complex. The statue of the Holy Trinity on Hősök tér was created in the Copf style in 1790. The Mária-napi búcsú pilgrimage is still held at the chapel on Szőlőhegy.
Nature
Kastély Hill lies west of Kéthely. At 256 metres, it is the highest point of the wooded Marcali-hát. Kéthely's vineyards, which extend right up to the houses, and its extensive forests offer opportunities for walks and excursions.
Culinary Delights
At the Kéthelyi Termelői Piac, vegetables and fruit from local producers, processed foods and handicraft products are offered on Saturdays; breakfast and lunch are also available. Harmath Pincészet winery has 24 hectares of vineyards on the gentle slopes of Baglashegy.
