Gamás is home to the Gamási Nagyboldogasszony r.k. templom, a late Baroque Roman Catholic church. It was built in 1814, remodelled in 1886 and is a listed monument.

Culture
The Kálvária of Gamás is located behind the church on a small wooded hill.
In the centre of the hamlet of Vadépuszta are the bell tower and the cross of Vadépuszta; both are designated places of worship. The cross is visited to light candles on All Souls’ Day, Christmas and Easter.
The First World War memorial in Gamás depicts a fallen soldier collapsing to the ground after being fatally shot. It stands in a small square in the centre of the village, near the church and school. Construction began in 1923, and it was ceremonially inaugurated on 24 October 1924.

Csúcs-hegy mountain is located in the vicinity of Gamás. The hills of Új-hegy, Vityakő and Bajci-hegy are nearby. Further afield in the region are the ruins of Pálos kolostor romjai.
