Culture and History
The József Attila Memorial House is open year-round and features an interactive exhibition. It is located in the former Horváth Inn, where Attila József spent his final weeks in November and December 1937. Since 1957, the building has housed an exhibition about the poet's life.

The Csukás Theatre, opened in 2011, presents performances for families, children and adults, as well as concerts. Since 2020, it has been a venue for the Kultkikötő programme series. Next to the main entrance of the Reformed Church of Balatonszárszó, there is a commemorative plaque dedicated to the 1943 Szárszó Conference.
