Protected Floodplain Forest on the Danube
The Duna-parti ártéri erdő is a locally protected natural area in Leányfalu, covering 80.47 hectares. This gives the town a distinct natural attraction alongside its bathing facilities. The floodplain forest and the thermal bath have different character: one is a protected area, the other offers pools and bathing facilities. If you would rather plan your trip around nature, you can take this distinction into account.
The Thermal Bath Through the Seasons
Leányfalui Termálfürdő is located in the Danube Bend, on a picturesque stretch of the Danube in park-like, shady surroundings. The number of outdoor pools varies by season: there are six in summer and three in winter. The summer facilities also include a 50-metre swimming pool. Seasonal details may change, so check the current operating information before visiting the bath.
The outdoor therapeutic pool is fed by Leanyfalu's medicinal water, which comes from a depth of 1,000 metres. The warm-water leisure pool has a neck shower and a water jet; the water temperature is 32 to 34°C. The pools therefore differ not only by season but also in their facilities and water temperature.
The neighboring Szaunaház has several saunas, a steam room, massage services, and indoor and outdoor plunge pools. This adds a range of options focused on heat and water alongside the bathing pools. Which ones suit your stay depends on whether you want to focus on swimming, medicinal water or saunas.
Archaeology, a Villa and Exhibitions
The Leányfalu – Roman Watchtower archaeological site is an individually designated protected archaeological site. The Móricz Villa in Leányfalu is protected as a national monument. Another place of historical and cultural interest is the Leányfalu Hely- és Irodalomtörténeti Kiállítóhely, with permanent and temporary exhibitions.
These places offer different ways to explore history: an archaeological site, a protected building and an exhibition venue. If history is to be a focus of your stay, you can plan around these separately rather than treating them as a single cultural attraction.

Free parking for visitors to Leányfalui Termálfürdő is available in front of the main entrance, on the grassy riverside area next to the bath, and north of the bath on Road 11 toward Tahitótfalu. Parking arrangements may change, so check the information before your visit.
