Nyáry Castle and its history
Nyáry Castle in Legend is a protected historic monument. Its history dates back to around 1750, when it was built by the Nyáry family. It later belonged to the Prónay family and, eventually, the Schrecker family. In the early 20th century, the Balás family had a new L-shaped wing built. This later addition marks a distinct architectural change in the castle’s history.
