Culture and History
The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Csitár was built in the Baroque style in 1747 and renovated in 1900. The stained-glass windows in the nave and chancel were made in 1964.
A statue of Saint John the Baptist is located on the wall of the kindergarten in Csitár. It was created in 1850 and moved to its present location in 1936. The tomb of the Torkos family in Csitár dates from the late 1840s.
