Culture
The Szintezési Ősjegy is freely accessible; a short, easy-to-walk path with information boards and signposts leads there from the centre of Nadap.
The present-day Palermói Szent Rozália Church in Nadap is a neo-Gothic building designed by the architect Jenő Hübner. Individual sections of Haladás Street and the streetscape of Rákóczi Street in Nadap are protected locally.
History
Vörösmarty Mihály was baptised in Nadap on 3 December 1800. Vörösmarty Mihály’s baptismal font can be viewed in the church during Sunday and holiday services or by groups upon prior registration.
Bronze Age weapons, jewellery and everyday objects found in the immediate vicinity of Nadap can be viewed at the Szent István Király Museum in Székesfehérvár.
Nature
A significant proportion of Nadap’s undeveloped land is protected and forms part of the Natura 2000 ecological network. Nadap lies in a particularly scenic part of the Velence Mountains, where landforms, forests, rock formations and human-made memorials come together.
The slopes of Meleg-hegy are home to wildflower meadows, vineyards and rare bird species. Csúcsos-hegy offers views of Lake Velence and the wooded slopes of the surrounding area.
Activities
Csúcsos-hegy can be reached via a pleasant hiking trail and is particularly popular with hikers, cyclists and amateur photographers. It is also a popular destination for paragliders, although there are only a few launch sites there.
Several local hiking trails cross Meleg-hegy along the southern to south-eastern border of Nadap. Templom-hegy is a historic and spiritual site on the border of Nadap. It is a peaceful, wooded excursion destination offering views of Nadap, towards Lovasberény and as far as the Meleg-hegy mountain range.
There are opportunities for horse riding in Nadap. Nadap is considered a starting point for hikes, panoramic photography, family outings and peaceful relaxation.
