The main altarpiece of the Nagyboldogasszony Church is a copy of Titian’s “Assunta”. The church also has a Rieger organ dating from 1910. Its foundation stone was laid in 1762; it was completed in several construction phases and consecrated in honor of the Nagyboldogasszony in 1769.

The international Plein Air artists’ colony has been held at the Csongrádi Alkotóház for decades. The International Bronze Symposium, attended by artists from several countries, has also been held there for decades.
