This hall is believed to have been Davillers' 12th-century manor house; the moated site was identified as the probable location of this manor house. The historic buildings in the village also offer different insights. The Old Post Office is a Grade II* listed house with fabric that is partly medieval or dates from the early 16th century. Church Farm completes this picture as a 16th-century farmstead complex with a 19th-century farmhouse and converted buildings.
