La Norma: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

La Norma is a car-free mountain resort at an altitude of 1,350 metres. It is located on a wooded plateau overlooking the Vanoise Massif and the upper Arc Valley.

Activities

At Rocher des Amoureux, a rock formation approximately 70 metres high rises up and can be climbed on almost all sides. There are around 100 climbing routes there, ranging from difficulty levels 4a to 8a.

Norma Loops is a rail toboggan run with a 900-metre descent through the forest of La Norma, 10 bends, 6 bridges and 3 complete 360-degree turns. The track is accessible all year round and can be reached directly from the entrance to the resort.

The Circuit des Escaliers is an easy forest walk through spruce stands. It is described as suitable for the whole family.

The Marmottons Practice Park is a mountain bike course with terrain features and numerous balance modules around the lakes of La Norma.

La Norma's aquatic leisure facility has a 1,000-square-metre bathing area. It also includes a water slide and a beach with wooden and grassy areas.

The Circuit de la Repose is a predominantly downhill path through the forest of La Norma; a possible ascent by cable car makes it easier to explore. The path is home to black grouse and, nearby, also spotted nutcrackers.

Culture and History

The Sentier de l'Art features monumental sculptures that combine local heritage with contemporary and Baroque art on Savoie marble.

The Église Saint-Julien de Villarodin is located in the immediate vicinity of La Norma. Its Lombard bell towers are visible from far away, and it houses examples of Baroque art in Savoie.

La Norma is located in the heart of the Alps, opposite the Parc national de la Vanoise, a protected natural area with remarkable flora and fauna.
