Fontaine-le-Puits: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The Sentier des Ravières from Fontaine-le-Puits is a family-friendly themed trail. Children can playfully discover the world of the forest as well as animal and tree species along the trail. The route begins at a car park near the church of Fontaine-le-Puits and forms a loop back to the starting point. Hiking
The Fontaine-le-Puits et le Puits hiking trail connects the two hamlets and provides access to the Sentier des Ravières. Two hiking routes, a short loop and a long loop, lead to the Pointe du Cuchet viewpoint.

Pointe du Cuchet is a peak in the Belleville Valley, reaches an elevation of 1,679 m and offers panoramic views of Mont Blanc, Grande Casse, Grand-Perron and Niélard. Pointe de Crève-Tête is a peak in the immediate vicinity of Fontaine-le-Puits. Roc de Fer is a peak in the vicinity of Fontaine-le-Puits, as are Montagne de Cherferie, a mountain in the area, and Pointe du Mottet, another nearby peak.
At the Retenue de la Coche site, an information board explains how it operates; the reservoir plays an important role in generating electricity in the valley. Several established hiking trails lead from the Barrage-retenue de la Coche in Fontaine-le-Puits.
Culture
The Chemin des morts connects the villages of Salins-les-Thermes and Fontaine-le-Puits and passes through former limestone mines. It was used by the pallbearers of the deceased from Fontaine-le-Puits to take them to the parish church of Salins-les-Thermes.
The wider surrounding region is also home to Fort de Montperché and Fort de Montgilbert, both forts. Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne (Convent) is a historic site there, as is Abbaye du Betton.
