Since 1970, the Centre d’Art de Flaine has presented exhibitions and workshops on contemporary art. It offers changing exhibitions and admission is free.

Culture
Flaine’s Chapelle Œcuménique was inaugurated in 1973 and built from wood and slate without concrete. Including its furnishings, it has been protected as a historic monument since 2014.
The historic Marcel Breuer complex in Flaine received the French “Patrimoine Architectural du XXème siècle” designation from the Ministry of Culture in 2008. The “Le Flaine” hotel was also added to the supplementary register of historic monuments in 1991.
Sightseeing and Location
The Chapelle Œcuménique is located opposite the tourist office and can be reached from Flaine Forêt via the orange inclined lifts. Advance reservation is required for the guided tour of Flaine’s cultural heritage.
Activities
The Flaine ski area has 64 slopes and 24 lifts.
The Parcours aventure – Expert includes Tarzan swings, suspension bridges and zip lines. It is located in Flaine Forum behind the Chapelle Œcuménique, near the Comptoir des Activités.

Landscape
The Désert de Platé is considered one of Europe’s largest lapiaz landscapes. Le Carnet de Marcel is a day hike with the option of taking a picnic break.
