Culture and Townscape

The Château d’Eurre was built in the 11th century by the lords of Urre. After later alterations to the castle, the keep was converted into a chapel.

The Église Saint-Apollinaire dates back to the 12th century and was rebuilt in the 17th century. Eurre is also home to the fully paved Rue de l’Arcade. The upper rampart of Eurre features foundations of Roman origin.

The Observatoire Françoise Seyvet at the Ramières lakes offers a viewpoint over former gravel-pit lakes that have now been transformed into habitats for biodiversity.
