The hike to Le Suquet passes through an area characterised by a contrast between deciduous vegetation on the shady slope and Mediterranean-influenced vegetation on the sunny slope.

In the wider area around Le Suquet, the hike to the Granges de la Brasque connects the chestnut groves and meadows of Pélasque with larch and fir forests near the Granges de la Brasque. Also in the wider area around Le Suquet is the Vallon de Bagnolar, a canyon with a succession of cascades and enclosed water pools in a narrow gorge.

The Vallon de l’Infernet canyon may be used daily from 1 April to 31 October. June to September is considered the recommended period for the canyon.
