Culture and history

The French Resistance Memorial is a monument in the wider region surrounding Mouzon. The Église Saint-Nicolas, a church, is also located in the wider regional area. The parish church of Saint-Martin in Mouzon is an 11th-century Romanesque church.

The cemetery of Mouzon was located at the Saint-Martin church, on the side of the parish garden. From the centre of Mouzon, the cemetery can be reached by taking the D162 towards Montemboeuf. Its relocation to municipal land west of the town centre was approved by a decree issued by the prefect of Charente on 13 September 1862.

The Lésignac-Durand St-Pierre–St-Martin hiking trail is 11 kilometres long and marked in yellow. It leads to a viewpoint or a station at the Église Saint-Martin in Mouzon, whose address is 3 D162. The trail is located near the Moulde and offers a hike along bodies of water; further south lies Lac de Mas Chaban.
