Ansac-Sur-Vienne: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Notre-Dame Chapel, including its painted furnishings, has been listed as a historic monument since 28 October 1996. The chapel also contains a burial niche and reclining effigies of the de Pontbriant family, both protected as historic monuments.

The Logis de la Villatte is also part of the listed historic fabric: by decree of 8 March 1991, it was listed as a historic monument; this also applies to the chapel with its coffered ceiling in the west wing. The logis comprises a 15th-century wing and a 16th-century wing with a spiral staircase and defensive towers.

The parish church of Saint-Benoît dates back to the 11th century, was rebuilt from the late 12th century onwards, and was repaired in 1578 and between 1878 and 1905.

Another distinctive structure is the Pontaran Viaduct, also known as Pontarand or Pontaraud. It is a 100-metre-long railway viaduct with five arches and crosses the Faye valley. The former railway line at the Pontaran Viaduct is now used by the Charente-Limousine tourist vélorail railway.

The former mill of Ansac is now a ruin. The foundations, the metal framework of the waterwheel in a silted-up channel, and the weir on the Vienne have been preserved.
