Nantillé: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Jardin de Gabriel in Nantillé is a collection of naïve artworks by Gabriel Albert. In the garden around his small house stand life-size cement statues. Gabriel Albert, who lived in Nantillé, created at least 420 cement statues and busts; naïve artworks created by him can be seen there.

The preserved Romanesque south wall of the nave of the Église Saint-Hilaire has three bays articulated by shallow buttresses. The two westernmost windows retain a design characteristic of Saintonge Romanesque architecture from the years 1135 to 1140. The narrower Gothic choir has three bays; large buttresses stand on its south side, probably added in the 15th century.

The Platrières de Nantillé comprise marl grassland with water bodies and a remarkable plant community.
